Fifty for the Future, in partnership with Create Little Rock, the young professionals organization of the Little Rock Regional Chamber focused on retaining, attracting and developing young professional talent in the metro Little Rock region, has begun a new community initiative: Think Big Little Rock.
Think Big Little Rock brings young professionals, ages 25 to 40, together over a 12-month period to assess the community’s needs and, where possible, act as a catalyst for positive change.
Conceived and funded by Fifty for the Future, Think Big Little Rock is a year-long strategic assessment and implementation process aimed at improving Little Rock’s overall quality of place and making it a community in which young professionals will want to live and work. The project is an inclusive and participatory initiative focused on an age group that traditionally has had little input in building Little Rock’s future.
This process is being directed and facilitated by the professional staff of UALR’s Institute for Economic Advancement who bring years of experience in community planning and strategy implementation to the project.
