Get on Board is a program of Create Little Rock that matches young professionals with non-profit boards of directors in Central Arkansas. Over the past 3 years, CLR matched around a dozen board “interns” with organizations such as the American Red Cross of Arkansas, Goodwill Industries of Arkansas and First Tee of Arkansas. Get on Board participants use this opportunity to enhance their resume, get first-hand insight into the board member experience and network in the community.Several previous interns have been asked to remain as full-fledged members of the board they interned with. The extent of involvement is dependent on that person and the board they are matched with.The 2018 Get on Board application is available HERE!
